The Cottage

What can we say, what a lovely cottage! And the stream, so relaxing, and the views and countryside. AMAZING! Thanks so muchKath and Paul, Yorkshire

Enjoying panoramic views of the hidden village of Glyn Ceiriog and the valley beyond, Nodyn y Nant is a wonderful country hideaway for couples seeking quality accommodation in blissful surroundings.
The Ceiriog Valley is one of Wales’s best kept secrets among walkers and lovers of the countryside. Nodyn y Nant means ‘Sound of the Stream’, which runs right outside the door.

This charming detached stone and slate cottage in the grounds of the owners former historic farmhouse has been lovingly converted from a former stable and grainstore to provide the most delightful luxury holiday home, which is well off the beaten track of tourists and day trippers, yet only minutes from the bustling Llangollen, home of the International Eisteddfod, Balloon Festival, canal boats, canoeing and white water rafting on the River Dee.

Activities in the area also include Quad Biking and Pony Trekking. The stunning Horseshoe Pass, Chirk and Whittington Castles, Plas Newydd, Erddig and other National Trust properties, the beaches on the North Wales coast and endless wonderful walking country make Nodyn y Nant a must for a delightfully balanced, peaceful holiday.
