Enjoying panoramic views of the hidden village of Glyn Ceiriog and the valley beyond, Nodyn y Nant is a wonderful country hideaway for couples seeking quality accommodation in blissful surroundings.
The Ceiriog Valley is one of Wales's best kept secrets among walkers and lovers of the countryside. Nodyn y Nant means 'Sound of the Stream', which runs right outside the door.

This charming detached stone and slate cottage in the grounds of the owners former historic farmhouse has been lovingly converted from a former stable and grainstore to provide the most delightful luxury holiday home, which is well off the beaten track of tourists and day trippers, yet only minutes from the bustling Llangollen, home of the International Eisteddfod, Balloon Festival, canal boats, canoeing and white water rafting on the River Dee.
Activities in the area also include Quad Biking and Pony Trekking. The stunning Horseshoe Pass, Chirk and Whittington Castles, Plas Newydd, Erddig and other National Trust properties, the beaches on the North Wales coast and endless wonderful walking country make Nodyn y Nant a must for a delightfully balanced, peaceful holiday.

Coming from OSWESTRY:
Coming into Chirk from Oswestry on the A5, take the left turn on to the
B4500 for Glyn Ceiriog. On entering the village, turn sharp right at the
school which is on your right, and the road seems to double back. Take the
2nd left turn at the letterbox, the road takes you through a farmyard and up
a hill. Pass a white cottage on the left and the road levels out, after
which you will see a pull-in on the right which has PANT-DU engraved in the
stone wall. This is the name of our house, park here and walk up the path
and we'll greet you on your arrival.
Coming from LLANGOLLEN:
From the A5 traffic lights in Llangollen, turn right at the Grapes (old
public house), signposted for Plas Newydd Trust House. Follow the road
uphill, past houses and the school on your left. Opposite the school playing
fields there is a right hand turning for Glyn Ceiriog, take this and follow
the road uphill steeply for a couple of minutes until you come to a T
junction. Turn right and take the 2nd left for Glyn Ceiriog (signposted
Unsuitable for heavy goods) . The steep, narrow lane twists sharply,
travelling downhill, and you will come to a pull-in on your left, with the
name PANT-DU engraved in the stone wall. This is the name of our house, park
here and walk up the path and we'll greet you on your arrival.
